Let’s talk about PowerSheets!

PowerSheets is a game changer when it comes to goal setting and actually achieving your goals as you go through your year. You all know that I love my simplified planner for the day to day, but for the yearly and the monthly goal setting, there is nothing that even comes close to PowerSheets!

What are PowerSheets?

PowerSheets is a goal planner. It’s made by a company called Cultivate What Matters whose founder, Lara Casey decided she was going to create a way to Cultivate What Matters in life. She has a book about it, called Cultivate.

What makes it unique?

PowerSheets starts with a prep work section that asks you to dig deep and find out what matters to you. I mean really matters. By conducting life audits, brainstorming about the things that make you happy, envisioning where you want to be, it enables you to set clear goals and priorities for you year. All the way making it fun with stickers, colorful pages, a word of the year, and so much more. Lara encourages along the way and frequently drives you by saying the following:

You will come away with big goals for the year and then put what matters into practice to slowly grow and take steps using what is called a “tending list”. Every month, I make my tending list. It gives clarity about what is truly important that month and let’s me see what I am going to spend time on and what I am saying no to. The tending list leads to progress, builds habits, achieves goals, and what I love most is the way there is an element of gratitude also embedded. By practicing this skill of growing slowly with gratitude, you learn to break big goals into smaller actions, to tend to them monthly, and then you are living and doing what you want and what makes you happy! Amazing Right! I know!

I was skeptical at first, I only bought the 6 months planner to start. But, I absolutely love love loved it, so I now buy my PowerSheets full year planner, every year!
