Jen Hatmaker’s Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire does not disappoint! I’ll be real, I kept hearing about how wonderful this Jen Hatmaker person is. I was a bit skeptical in selecting her book for the month of July, but with so much hype, why not read it and form my own opinion. This book is about being brave and honestly yourself and claiming your own gifts, quirks, and emotions. In this book, Jen breaks it down into five self-reflective categories–who I am, what I need, what I want, what I believe, and how I connect. June’s Book Review
The Art of Making Memories- Meik Wiking This book is written by the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen. He has been described as “the world’s happiest man” and “the Indiana Jones of Smiles” I was intrigued to learn more about how to create and use these memories to boost my happiness as well as the happiness of my family. This book was quirky, full of fun pictures, an easy read, made me laugh and made me really think. I loved Meik’s take on the “good life”.
