Pizza & Movie Night
I wanted to share one of my favorite family traditions with you. We call it Pizza & Movie Night!
This tradition started as a way to dedicate time to family while also utilizing our new disney+ subscription. There is also the added benefit of no cooking!
Each Friday night we eat pizza, alternating between Digorno and Delivery, while watching a family movie together. Sound simple right, it is!
This tradition has added so much joy and quality time for our family. From trying various pizzas and pizza places, to picking and discussing movies, to recently ordering a popcorn maker to have fresh popcorn along with butter and seasoning, we love it! Every Friday, my son Isaac, wakes up smiling and excited for “Pizza Movie Night!”

I love movie night! It’s definitely a nice and relaxing way for families to hang out and have time today. We just watched The Irishman on Netflix and loved it!

My kids are still little for the full movie but we have little fun the same 😉

Love pizza, love Disney+!! We do something similar, but monthly (my kids complained when I tried to make it a weekly thing, so we settled on monthly, but the film is my choice 😂)

I couldn’t agree more that pizza and movie night is a great way to bond as a family. We actually alternate between Mexican and pizza and have recently started making our own pizza. We all look forward to it and have a great time eating and watching movies together.

I’ve been pretty obsessed with this cast iron Detroit style pizza lately. I make it with my classic focaccia bread as the crust, and a double layer of pepperoni! Yum! We’ve spent the last few movies introducing 80’s movies to our kids. After we watched The Goonies, they watched it on their own at least 4 more times! Ferris Beuller is next!
