Me Day
Last year, I started a monthly “me day”. On me day, I don’t work, I don’t do laundry or chores, and I only do whatever I genuinely want to do. No schedule, no rules, no working! Here are some things that I have done on me days. Went to a movie by myself, ordered a giant popcorn, glass of wine, and enjoyed the show in the fancy recliner seat! Jen Hatmaker’s Fierce, Free, and Full of Fire does not disappoint! I’ll be real, I kept hearing about how wonderful this Jen Hatmaker person is. I was a bit skeptical in selecting her book for the month of July, but with so much hype, why not read it and form my own opinion. This book is about being brave and honestly yourself and claiming your own gifts, quirks, and emotions. Yoga Newbie
After having my second baby, I made a commitment this year to get moving and be active! You all know the weight doesn’t magically disappear over night.
