What is Giraffe Joy?

Definition: Giraffe Joy —A blissful good feeling that makes a person so happy that they have to share it with others so that they too may be overjoyed! A.k.a. Joy sharing

In April of 2012, at the Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield Missouri, I hand fed a magnificent giraffe! It filled my heart with utter joy to see this long tongued massive creature eating from my hand. My love of giraffes began that very moment!

Giraffes are a symbol of many things. First, they symbolize this pure joy that I speak of. Second, I’ve always been a strange lanky tall girl. Giraffes remind me to stand tall and be proud of my strengths. My long legs, desire to eat all the time, and oddly long tongue. You see the resemblance now. Giraffes are rare and stunning, two things I aspire to be.

Since my first giraffe feeding, I have fed a giraffe in a different location just about every year since. I thought giraffe feeding might lose its zeal, but every new giraffe and new place is just as exciting and just as joyful.

My goal with Giraffe Joy is to bring others that same joy. Joy that fills your heart and makes you smile blissfully like a child on Christmas morning. To spread the rare and stunning experiences, products, and content abundantly with excitement. With the words and products of this site, I hope to inspire the spreading of giraffe joy and to truly delight your day!
